In July, 2011, Andrew Mishlove was named to a seat on the governing Board of Regents of the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD), the ABA-accredited College that certifies drunk driving defense specialists. He is one of only fourteen Regents in the United States. In 2011, he was selected as an instructor on field sobriety testing and the rules of evidence at the Wisconsin Judicial Conference, sponsored by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where he taught Wisconsin judges and even members of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

He is one of only a handful of attorneys in the United States who have been selected to sit on the DUI Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, where he represents Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.

He is a September 2014 graduate of the highly acclaimed Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer’s College, in Dubois, Wyoming. The Trial Lawyers College is the most intensive, world-renowned training for lawyers.

In 2014, Andrew Mishlove and James Nesci published the first and only Wisconsin attorney’s manual for OWI defense: Wisconsin OWI Defense, the Law and Practice, Lawyers and Judges Publishing Company, 2014.

Attorney Mishlove has held the highest post relating to criminal law in the State Bar of Wisconsin: the only criminal law organization in Wisconsin that is made up of defense lawyers, prosecutors, law professors, and judges. From 1990-1994 he was its Chairman of the Criminal Law Section.

He is the former Chairman of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Criminal Law Section; in charge of training other lawyers how to practice criminal defense and drunk driving defense (1990-1994).
He is a former Editor of the Wisconsin Criminal Law News, the State Bar of Wisconsin’s criminal law publication (1988-1990).
He holds the learning honors from his university, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, BA, Cum Laude, 1978.
