Mr. Azemika obtained his education right here in Northern California. In 2001 he graduated from the University of California Davis with honors, taking a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in History. In 2004, he graduated on the Dean's List from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
During law school he excelled. At UOP McGeorge School of Law, the once home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, he was awarded the Barrister's Scholarship, the Gary V. Schaber Memorial Scholarship, and the John A. McCarthy Scholarship. He also served as an editor for one of McGeorge’s prestigious law reviews, showing early his attention to detail and scholarship.
Bio
In 2017, Mr. Azemika was nominated as a 2017 Trial Advocate of the Year by the Capital City Trial Lawyers Association as a result of a substantial jury verdict he was able to attain in a difficult trial in Amador County. That same year, he was named a 2017 Top Lawyer in Personal Injury by Sacramento Magazine.
Mr. Azemika is also a member of both the Capital City Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
Sworn in to the California Bar in December 2004, Mr. Azemika is licensed to practice law before all courts in the State of California and in Federal Court in the Eastern District of the United States District Court.
