Elizabeth Bagert Carpenter is an exceptional New Orleans criminal defense attorney. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Law School where she was an active member of the St. Thomas More Law Society. As an undergraduate, she extensively studied French Language and Literature with honors at L’Université d’Orléans France. Before her legal career, she worked in the field of mental health while completing a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology Summa Cum Laude. Her first job as a lawyer was handling personal injury cases at a prestigious New Orleans law firm.
Ms. Carpenter is a member and supporter of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, Louisiana Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She has also volunteered her time working as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). She has successfully represented clients with a variety of legal problems in federal, state, municipal and traffic courts across Louisiana. Ms. Carpenter currently accepts cases in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. John, St. Charles, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, St. James and Ascension Parishes.
