Constitutional Attorney Katherine Henry focuses on educating the public on the law & the Constitution, empowering individuals to actively participate in the government process, educating government officials on legal & constitutional issues, fighting for freedom & defending the Constitution, and giving the people a voice in it all. Katherine Henry is the founder/senior attorney of Restore Freedom with Katherine Henry PC.
Bio
Katherine has experience working on these issues from a variety of viewpoints - legal assistant, law clerk, Guardian ad Litem for Minnesota's Second Judicial District, volunteer at the New Orleans Legal Assistance Center, and lobbyist to the Minnesota State Legislature. She received training in the areas of Civil Mediation, Family Mediation, Juvenile Court Guardian ad Litem, and Family Court Guardian ad Litem (all through the Supreme Court of Minnesota).

As an Assistant Public Defender, Katherine handled adult misdemeanor offenses, all juvenile delinquency matters, and child protection cases. Also in that role, Katherine attended numerous trainings, continuing legal education courses and group legal brainstorming sessions to enhance her understanding of the law and how best to serve clients.

As a private attorney in both Minnesota and Michigan, Katherine worked on a variety of cases, including, but not limited to, divorce & custody, landlord-tenant, real estate, contract issues, business matters, and estate planning. Also in this role, Katherine attends numerous trainings and continuing legal education courses, and frequently collaborates with other attorneys to keep up-to-date on the law and continually learn new and improved methods of best serving client needs.

Now, being trained and experienced in even more areas of Constitutional law, Katherine works on cases in trial and appellate courts where Constitutional issues are implicated.

Katherine earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota. During her undergraduate education, Katherine became a Member of Highest Distinction in the National Forensics Honorary Pi Kappa Delta. She went on to earn her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Katherine also received specialized training in the areas of:
