Jimmy Lefton’s goal was to build a family law practice in Cincinnati committed to helping his clients deal with the legal, financial and emotional challenges of going through a divorce or dissolution. For the past 20 years, Jimmy has stayed focused on this goal and has developed a full-service family law practice, 513Divorce, to help his clients meet their needs and achieve the best possible outcome.

Jimmy writes a weekly blog to help educate people in Cincinnati who may be contemplating a divorce, in the process of a divorce or have finalized their divorce but would like to make changes to some of the arrangements.

Bio
Jimmy grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and having gone away to college for undergraduate and law school, he came back to Cincinnati to build his law practice. Jimmy is a graduate of The Ohio State University and an avid Buckeye football fan. For law school, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
While attending law school, Jimmy worked as an Assistant Attorney for the City of East Lansing, Michigan. Also while in law school, he was elected to a two year term on the school’s Law Review.
Jimmy previously worked as an assistant Prosecutor for Joseph Deters in the Hamilton County Prosecutors Office.
Jimmy is married with 3 children. He is very active in his community where he devotes a majority of his personal time to coaching youth sports including baseball, football and basketball. He is a board member of the Sycamore Athletic Club, Youth Basketball Organization.
