Bio
My name is Jen Grondahl Lee and I am debt and credit strategy attorney. I help my clients examine their financial situations and provide long-term solutions for reducing debt and stress in their lives. Sometimes, the solution is bankruptcy, but oftentimes, there are other solutions we can work through to get back on track.
Before moving to California, I grew up in a very small town in North Dakota. My home town is Berthold, North Dakota and has a population of about 500 these days. My high school class had 17 people in it (10 boys and 7 girls). I have also lived in Hamburg, Germany; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Houston, Texas; and Richmond, Virginia. No, I was not in the military. I just enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people!
I earned my law degree (JD) from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to law school, I worked for 8 years managing different teams with the insurance industry. I decided to open my own firm because of my background in business and wanting to have direct contact with the people who need legal help the most.
When I am not helping clients or learning as much as I can about the law, I enjoy reading, spending time with my daughters, Ingrid and Heidi, and playing with my dogs. We have 4 dogs and we are also involved in dog rescue, so there is often a 5th foster dog in our house when a dog needs to get out of the shelter to a temporary home.
In addition to my law degree, I have an MBA and a B.S. in Business Management.
