Prior to joining the Ken Nugent’s Augusta office, Marcus spent his time representing indigent clients in Albany, GA for six and a half years as an Assistant Public Defender in the Dougherty Judicial Circuit Public Defenders office. There Marcus litigated numerous trials before the State and Superior Courts.
Marcus graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2010. Before law school, Marcus graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with his B.A. in Criminal Justice and Spanish. Marcus was admitted to practice in Georgia in 2010 and in South Carolina in 2016.
