Maran & Maran was formed in 1986 soon after David Maran joined his father, Joe Maran at Gateway 1 in Newark. When David joined him, Joe Maran was already a seasoned and acclaimed personal injury trial lawyer. David Maran had the privilege to train under and work with his father in a specialized personal injury and malpractice firm for 22 years until Joe retired. Joe Maran has since passed away. After leaving the Gateway building, the firm moved to the Legal Center where they practiced for twenty years, when David Maran moved the firm to the other side of Penn Station in their current location. With 30 years of experience David Maran continues to maintain the personal injury and malpractice specialty and his commitment to helping one client at a time from retention to resolution.
