Alfred “Al” Edward Fargione, III
Al Fargione is an experienced civil and criminal litigator, having represented clients in high stakes civil and criminal litigation in State, Superior, and Federal Courts across Georgia. Mr. Fargione’s experience includes successfully proving an Uber driver’s innocence after the the driver was accused of sexually assaulting one of his customers. Mr Fargione also has regularly recovered insurance policy limits for clients injured in automobile accidents.
Mr. Fargione received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY; his J.D. from New England Law | Boston, where he was the Symposium Editor on the New England Law Review; and his LL.M. in Tax Law and Estate Planning from the Boston University School of Law. Mr. Fargione is admitted to practice in Georgia and Massachusetts, the Middle District of Georgia and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Samuel E. Thomas
Samuel E. Thomas is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Political Science. He is also a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa. He was admitted into the practice of law in June of 2013. Samuel E. Thomas is a fourth-generation small business owner in the Athens, Georgia area. He is admitted to all State and Superior Courts throughout the state of Georgia along with the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia.
Mr. Thomas is the current Vice-Chair of the Alimony Committee of the American Bar Association Family Law Section. He regularly works with top family law attorneys across the United States to help implement changes submitted to the United States lawmakers regarding family law at the federal level.
Charles McRae
Charlie earned two undergraduate degrees at Mississippi State University in the International Business Program, graduating cum laude with an emphasis in Finance and German. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law.
After graduation, he worked in-house for a company that developed, manufactured, and marketed niche products for retail internationally. He ran his own solo practice for a year before joining the firm, focusing mostly on family law. Joining the firm has given him the opportunity to branch out into different areas of legal practice including Immigration and employment law. He looks forward to growing with the firm and serving the local Athens community.
