Mr. Place holds a Masters in Law Degree (L.L.M.) in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University. Mr. Place has extensive experience in the area of securities litigation and arbitration including numerous trials, mediations, and settlements of claims on behalf of clients.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Place has the unique perspective of having practical securities arbitration experience as a regulator formerly working for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD n/k/a FINRA). Additionally, Mr. Place worked at a large broker-dealer for many years and formerly held multiple securities licenses.
Mr. Place also worked as a research analyst and traveled throughout the country conducting due diligence of mutual funds. Mr. Place also worked for an investment advisory firm. Mr. Place currently serves as an arbitrator and is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association.
