As an OUI defense attorney, he is certified in field sobriety testing, breathalyzer testing, and is one of the few lawyers in Massachusetts who has completed all the available courses to be a drug recognition expert (DRE).
Gregory Oberhauser is 1 of only 24 defense attorneys in the nation to be distinguished as an ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist by the American Chemical Society and the ONLY attorney in Massachusetts!
The ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist is considered a new type of attorney who studies legitimate science and applies it to cases bringing justice to the courtroom.
Attorney Greg Oberhauser has also completed at least 80 hours of hands-on forensic training offered in cooperation with Axion Analytical Laboratories, Inc. allowing him to be recognized as a DUID specialist.
The DUID course focuses on the analysis of biological fluids (blood, urine, hair, oral fluid) for drugs of abuse. As the name implies it focuses on DUID from the motorist’s point of view.
