| Bio |
| Bill Combs received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Knox College in 1969, and a law degree in 1986 from the University of Wyoming College of Law, after a decade-long career in public education. Raised on a Midwestern dairy farm, Bill also has life experiences as a house painter, cherry picker, river raft guide, commercial model, automobile assembly line worker, custodian, horse trainer, and land survey crew member. He is the father of two adult children and two grandchildren, and the brother of four male siblings. Bill initiated the Wyoming Bar Association resolution in 1988 that resulted in the formation of the Wyoming Federal Public Defenders Office. He also brought action against the Uinta County, Wyoming Sheriff's Office in 1991 that resulted in the creation of an attorney-inmate confidential counseling room at the County Detention Center. |
