New York & Texas Trial Lawyer
Criminal Defense - Civil - Personal Injury - Business Law
The philosophy we abide by at Greco & Associates is simple: “prove it or try it.” You claim my client is guilty, so prove it. If not, dismiss it or set it for trial. We like to fight. We don’t lie down and accept what the prosecutor says happened, just because they are saying so. We were hired to do a job and we plan on doing it.

The only way we can effectively represent any client is to begin with the upper hand from the outset. We have to know more than the other side knows or we are going to be at a disadvantage from the get go. We need to know the law better, we need to know our case better. There is a lot of work that goes into each and every case. The better prepared we are, the better the outcome will be. It is that simple.

As we have mentioned before, we are not a big firm. We don’t sign up the case and pass you off to a subordinate of ours. We pride ourselves on personal attention to each and every case. We give our clients our email address as well as our personal cell phone number. We are always just a phone call or email away. We understand that most clients are on edge and cannot wait for an entire evening or weekend to pass before they are given an answer to a question they have. We embrace that notion and we are happy to give you the answers to your questions as they come up so that you can remain fully informed and understand the process of your case.

We pride ourselves in gearing up for battle with the government. We understand that each client has a different set of problems they bring with them on any given case. Our job is to be there as a protector and fighter for our clients.

Don’t settle for a lawyer who will put forth little effort when this is the most important thing going on in your life and the outcome will affect you for a long time to come. Call us today to set up a free initial consultation.

Jeffery Greco is the founding member of Greco & Associates. He opened this firm with one goal in mind: to help those people who were caught in between a rock and a hard place. That is a very familiar place for just about every one facing criminal charges.

Jeff began his career while still in undergraduate school, working for a criminal defense law firm. These guys became his mentors. As they were all former prosecutors, they convinced him that he needed to get hired at a District Attorney’s office to get a quality education and an opportunity to try as many criminal cases to a jury as he could.

Jeff applied, and was subsequently hired by the Harris County District Attorney’s office in 2006. He quickly was thrown right into the thick of it and began trying misdemeanor DWIs and assault cases. Jeff performed so well (having only lost 1 misdemeanor jury trial out of 10) that he was promoted to the Juvenile Division where he was responsible for handling both misdemeanor and felony juvenile cases. He was then promptly promoted again, only this time he was promoted to the coveted position of a felony prosecutor. As a felony prosecutor, Jeff was able to try aggravated robberies, aggravated assaults and large drug cases. Jeff even had the opportunity to try an attempted capital murder of a police officer case. After another year at the felony level, Jeff was promoted to the position of Chief Prosecutor of a misdemeanor court. This meant that Jeff was now in charge of training the new prosecutors under his tutelage.

Jeff has a penchant for trying cases before a jury. Jeff is very comfortable in front of a jury, regardless of the case he is charged with trying. He understands that often times a jury trial is the only way to get the justice that his clients deserve. Jeff’s background as a Harris County Chief Prosecutor is invaluable in his day-to-day dealings in the criminal courthouse. Having that training and experience allows him to more effectively represent clients because he knows how prosecutors think and he knows what little tricks they try to pull in cases. He knows this because he was once in their shoes. It is this training and experience that allows him to be the defense attorney he is today.

You need someone who is not afraid to buck the system. You need someone who will not back down when told to do so. You need someone who will be in your corner, fighting for you, watching your back. Call a lawyer with years of proven results in court.
