I am a Registered Patent Attorney, and my practice is devoted to obtaining, licensing, and enforcing all manner of intellectual property rights. My primary practice areas are patents, trademarks, computers and software, trade secrets, copyrights, data privacy and unfair competition. My experience includes preparing and prosecuting patents in the electronic arts, software arts, web-based delivery arts, biomedical and mechanical arts; representing clients in patent, copyright and trademark infringement litigation; preparing patent infringement, validity and novelty opinions; advising clients on intellectual property policing and enforcement issues; representing clients in domain name disputes, including UDRP proceedings; and, negotiating and preparing licensing agreements, assignments, nondisclosure and noncompetition agreements, and other types of intellectual property agreements.
In addition to our Intellectual Property Practice Group, my firm is a full-service firm representing clients throughout the Gulf Coast region in both litigation and transactional matters. We have offices in New Orleans and Pensacola.

Bio
I joined the firm in 2006 and practice primarily intellectual property law. I am a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and my practice is devoted to obtaining, licensing, and enforcing all manner of intellectual property rights.
Prior to joining the firm, I was a research and development project manager for Entergy Corporation, where I provided both technical and managerial oversight for millions of dollars in research projects, including projects with major universities such as M.I.T., Georgia Tech, and Tulane University. I later worked for Entergy Corporation as a senior power distribution engineer.
