| Bio |
I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in Mansfield, Louisiana. I am the son of Otis L. Hendrix and Joan Hendrix. I attended Mansfield High School and graduated with honors in 1978. I received a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana Tech in 1983. I attended the Paul M. Herbert Law School at Louisiana State University and graduated in 1986. While at LSU, I was selected as the freshman representative for our section, and was elected President of the Junior Class. After graduating, I accepted a position clerking for the Hon. James Clark and Hon. John F. Fant at the First Judicial District Court in Caddo Parish. After finishing the clerkship, I entered into private practice. I am admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana, Federal District Court in all districts of Louisiana, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Twenty five years after entering private practice, I find myself doing the same things I started doing when I entered private practice. Trying to help people solve problems which they may encounter in everyday life, whether civil problems, personal injury problems, divorce, brushes with the criminal law. I have strived to treat every person with respect and with the same understanding; “You don’t visit a lawyer’s office to have coffee.” I constantly strive to achieve the best results that I can possibly attain for my clients and am willing to walk the extra mile to do so. I practice law throughout the State of Louisiana. |
