John Irving, the CEO and Managing Partner of the Irving Law Firm, brings a comprehensive understanding of the legal process to every case and client. In 1997, John received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University. Shortly after graduation, he began working as a fraud investigator for the City of New York, handling extensive cases involving welfare and housing fraud. Following this position, he was recruited by the Prince William County Police Department, where he demonstrated his superior abilities and received several commendations and awards.
After a brief tenure with the police department, John decided to transition into the practice of law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2005. His background provides a wealth of knowledge and experience in legal procedures, making him a valuable asset to the firm’s various legal services.
As the CEO and Managing Partner of the Irving Law Firm, John has earned a reputation as a tenacious litigator and a skilled negotiator. His legal abilities have been recognized and honored by organizations such as the Prince William County Circuit Court, Juvenile Court, Community Services Board, and Court Appointed Special Advocates.
John is deeply committed to community involvement. He has held leadership positions within his church and coached several sports, including football, soccer, wrestling, and tee ball. Additionally, he frequently sponsors local athletic teams and school programs. John’s passion for community support extends to the management of The Irving Law Firm’s continued commitment to giving back to the community. As an entrepreneur himself, John is dedicated to assisting other entrepreneurs and business owners in the formation and growth of their passions and endeavors.
