The Darin Firm, P.A. represents clients in divorce, child support, alimony, relocation, shared parental responsibility, paternity, modifications of prior Orders and similar domestic relations matters. The attorney and client work together as a team to obtain the best possible result. Regular updates and prompt reporting by phone and e-mail are hallmarks of the firm. The firm also represents businesses in Workers' Compensation cases. As an active member of the Florida Association of Self-Insurance’s (FASI’s) Legislative Committee, John Darin worked with its lobbyist in recommending and drafting proposed legislation; John also served on FASI’s Board of Directors from 1992 to 2010 and was the editor for FASI’s quarterly newsletter, The Update, for a number of years. John is the editor of a weekly E-Workers’ Compensation Case Law Review.

Bio:

JOHN R. DARIN has over thirty years of litigation experience. He has handled divorces, child support modifications, shared parental responsibility issues and similar domestic relations matters. John is also Board Certified in Workers' Compensation Law by the Florida Bar and usually represents businesses in this area of the law. In addition to his trial experience, John is well-versed in handling appellate matters with several published opinions to his credit. John has argued before the Florida Supreme Court and was admitted as an Attorney and Counselor to the Supreme Court of the United States in 1980. Also Certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Court Civil Mediator, John has mediated a number of cases to prompt and successful resolutions. In addition to his many professional distinctions, John was awarded a Third Degree Black Belt in Karate in 2010 and he has also competed in the New York City and Detroit Marathons.
