Ezra C. Levy has nearly two decades of criminal defense experience that he is now proudly offering to the greater New York community at-large. At the Law Offices of Ezra C Levy, every client is promised individualized attention from Ezra C. Levy himself. No case is too big or too small for the client facing the charges, and neither is it too big or too small for me. I understand that anyone can make a mistake. Bio

Upon receiving his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1998, Ezra C. Levy joined the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Division’s Brooklyn Office. Almost immediately, Ezra demonstrated an unparalleled ability to litigate complex issues in a clear-cut manner, enabling both judges and laypersons to understand what was involved. At the same time, Ezra made sure to learn from a myriad of excellent experienced attorneys who appeared in the Brooklyn courts. Realizing what worked and what didn’t work, Ezra honed his craft so that he quickly became recognized by all as a trial attorney to be reckoned with. Ezra’s expert cross-examination and summation skills, as well as his non-textbook trial style has left lasting impressions on all who watched his performances. More importantly, it resonated with the jurors who acquitted Ezra’s clients. Ezra’s trial skills were not lost upon his supervisors. Ezra was quickly felony-certified, and almost just as quickly, homicide-certified. Indeed, Ezra may be the youngest attorney in the history of the Legal Aid Society to be handpicked to serve as lead defense counsel of a client charged with Murder in the First Degree. During Ezra’s tenure at Legal Aid, Ezra secured full acquittals for clients improperly charged with: Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Robbery, Burglary, Rape, Assault, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and many other charges. Many of Ezra’s victorious clients had serious criminal records, some facing potential life sentences, but with Ezra’s help, these innocent men and women are free today.
