Heather D. Fraese is the Managing Partner at Fraese Aymont Family Lawyers, a boutique Calgary firm focused exclusively on family law. With more than a decade of experience, Heather is known for her balanced, strategic approach to family conflict—combining legal expertise with deep compassion for her clients.
Heather earned both her Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) and her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Alberta. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2012 and the British Columbia Bar in 2016. Throughout her legal career, she has remained focused on family law, developing specialized knowledge in divorce and separation, parenting and custody issues, spousal and child support, property division, prenuptial agreements, adoptions, and emergency protection orders.
Heather is also a certified mediator, which enables her to help clients resolve disputes outside the courtroom when possible. She believes in guiding families toward fair, practical outcomes and is committed to reducing the emotional and financial toll of litigation. Her approach prioritizes long-term well-being and resolution over drawn-out battles.
