Education
Rebecca received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, where she was Business Manager of the William Mitchell Law Review for two years and has received the College’s Alumni Award of Merit. Prior to founding rb LEGAL, LLC, Rebecca worked for the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota State Board of Law Examiners (an Agency of the Minnesota Supreme Court), she taught for six years as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Hamline University School of Law.

Alexia earned her law degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law (formerly William Mitchell College of Law) in St. Paul, Minnesota. She focused her studies on estate planning, trusts, and tax law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Northwestern - St. Paul.
Bio
REBECCA BELL
Founding Attorney Rebecca Bell is an honors graduate in Hospitality Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Rebecca’s extensive business leadership skills took root growing up in her family’s hospitality business, which developed Midwest hotel properties from inception to opening and beyond. An entrepreneur herself, in 2001 she expanded the family business with the launch of her own hotel consulting company. Rebecca has also taught Hospitality Law and Liability at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Rebecca's first career was in the hospitality industry. That meant working at the hotel's front desk dealing with people, each unique. Her real job was to listen to what people wanted and understand their needs (even if they couldn’t articulate them). She enjoyed solving their problems and sending them away with a smile. With this experience, Rebecca created a different type of law firm where we stay away from the clock when we can. We take the time to listen. We are smart, conscientious and do a good job for our clients.

ALEXIA MILES
Alexia Miles has always enjoyed helping others and solving problems. As a young girl, Alexia would ask her parents for more chores so she could help out around the house. She’d ask her teachers if she could skip recess to assist them in the classroom. She would also volunteer to do “extra” homework because she liked to solve problems. Years later, while working for a retirement plan, she got her first chance to help someone understand a complex legal problem. That opportunity was the spark that led her to take the LSAT and begin her legal career.

Today, Alexia practices exclusively in the area of Estate Planning (Wills, Trusts) and Estate Administration. She is also slowly growing her expertise in the Elder Law area. Alexia joined rb Legal as an Associate Attorney in 2016. She enjoys helping clients accomplish their goals and understand the best solutions to protect their families.

In her spare time, Alexia enjoys reading any genre of well-written novels, listening to public radio or James Taylor, playing board games (and preferably winning!), spending time with her family, and cherishing Minnesota’s short summers.
