Bio
Experience
Emma has practised exclusively in personal injury law since 2009 and became an admitted Solicitor in 2012. Early in her career she discovered how lawyers, medical providers, and the support networks around a client work together to shape recovery. She also learned how strong advocacy ensures early access to treatment and better compensation outcomes, giving clients the chance to take control of their lives again.

Emma has stayed true to these principles throughout her career, ensuring every client receives not only expert legal representation, but the support and guidance needed to rebuild their life with confidence.

Emma understands personal injury claims are rarely just about compensation; they’re about helping clients access treatment and support, so they can move forward with dignity and confidence.

Client Approach
Emma combines empathy with strategy to deliver the best outcomes for her clients. Known for making complex legal matters clear and relatable, she gives clients confidence at every stage. She frequently challenges insurers to ensure they are facilitating, rather than dictating, client treatment and works closely with medical teams to secure the treatment and support her clients need.

Community & Leadership
Emma volunteers at Caxton Legal Centre, contributes to community fundraising, and supports legal education initiatives, including women’s focus groups and community legal centres. She has served on the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland committee, reflecting her commitment to mentorship and professional development.

Beyond the Office
Emma is a proud parent of two boys and values kindness, balance, and having a sense of humour; qualities that help her connect with clients on a personal level. Parenthood has deepened her empathy and strengthened her understanding of community. For clients, this means working with a lawyer who not only leads their claim with clarity and compassion, but who also appreciates the ripple effect of an injury and the importance of support networks during recovery.
