Benjamin Brodish

Attorney
Durham, NC 27713

focus my practice on personal injury, workers’ compensation, and civil litigation, representing individuals and families throughout North Carolina who have been injured through no fault of their own. I take pride in guiding clients through difficult situations with clarity, compassion, and practical advice. I believe good legal representation starts with listening, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to protecting a client’s rights and well-being. Born and raised in North Carolina, I earned my undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and my law degree from Campbell University School of Law. While in law school, I focused on trial advocacy and practical litigation skills and gained early courtroom and client-focused experience through work with the Office of the Federal Public Defender, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Wake County Public Defender’s Office, and local civil litigation law firms. Those early experiences continue to shape my approach to advocacy today, particularly the importance of preparation, professionalism, and respect for the people behind each case. As a partner at Kreger Brodish, I work closely with our legal team to provide attentive, hands-on representation to injured clients and their families. I am committed to helping clients understand their options, make informed decisions, and move forward with confidence, whether that means resolving a claim efficiently or litigating when necessary to achieve a fair result. Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife and our three children. We are often outdoors together at parks and playgrounds, staying active and supporting our kids’ interests and activities. My wife and I also value the occasional date night, whether that means trying a new restaurant or catching a show around the Triangle. As a family, we enjoy getting away whenever we can, especially to North Carolina’s mountains and coast.

Attorney

As the owner and founder of Kreger Brodish, I take the work we do here seriously. I believe strongly in easy communication between attorneys and clients, high quality legal work done quickly and efficiently, and especially in successful outcomes for our clients. After graduating from college, I worked for four years as a claims adjuster for Progressive Insurance in Raleigh, North Carolina. While at Progressive, I saw how often the lack of good representation harmed people in their fight against large corporations. This experience led me to go to night law school while continuing my work in the insurance field. Upon graduating with highest honors from law school, I worked briefly for Mayer Brown, LLP, a large Chicago-based law firm, doing banking and finance legal work. I quickly realized that banking and finance work was not fulfilling my desire for working directly with clients who needed immediate and personalized help. So in 2010, I started my own law firm in Durham, North Carolina in an effort to use my experience in the insurance and banking fields to support my clients to the best of my ability. I now work primarily in the fields of personal injury, vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and other forms of civil litigation. With four years of direct experience in the insurance industry and 15+ years of experience as an attorney fighting insurance companies, I have helped thousands of people struggling to be fairly compensated for their personal injuries and property damage. I truly believe that having a hard-working, experienced attorney on your side can be a great equalizer in your fight against insurance companies and large corporations. While not working at my law firm, I like to stay busy. As a former NCAA All-American long distance runner, I try to keep in shape by running as much as I can. If you happen to be in the Woodcroft area, you might see me running the local trails. With four little kids at home, however, I don’t have the energy for running that I once had. Most of that energy gets used up biking, hiking, and playing sports with the kids, or just keeping the kids clean, fed, and generally well-behaved. If I am lucky and get a quiet night out with my wife, we are usually exploring the amazing new restaurants that Durham has to offer.
