Mr. Dunn is an active attorney/mediator in Oregon and Washington. Mr. Dunn began his legal career in the 1990s mediating his first cases and working in chambers for judges at the Washington State Supreme Court and US District Court for Western Washington. Since then, Mr. Dunn has represented some of the Pacific Northwest’s most successful technology companies and developed a law practice at Dunn & Sheldrick, PS in Vancouver, Washington. Mr. Dunn represents both individuals and companies, particularly with regard to professionals and the businesses they form, such as doctors, engineers, authors, and software developers. Mr. Dunn has been General Counsel to companies for over 10 years and maintains long-term relationships with those corporate clients. Mr. Dunn also handles plaintiff’s cases, such as for corporate breach of fiduciary duties, unpaid wages, Title VII discrimination, and has been an EEOC attorney panelist for over 10 years.
Mr. Dunn’s strength as a mediator is enhanced by his experience representing both plaintiff and defense in most aspects of his practice. This includes difficult conflicts where the perspectives of each side are polarized, such as corporate shareholder disputes, battles over intellectual property ownership, sexual harassment, discrimination, unpaid wages, consumer disputes, and other complex cases.
